Intake Guidelines
Welcome to Lune Space Station (LSS)! As working together is critical to our survival, we take special care when integrating new members into the crew. When you arrive at the LSS, you are greeted by a droid that carries out an initial medical scan and begins recording your actions. This NPC droid is assigned to you for your safety and security (in the form of an OOC Observer tag) until you are fully integrated into the crew and find your place in the community.
Once you have your OOC Observer Tag and have joined the LSS Group, you are free to explore the common areas of the space station and interact with the crew (as long as you are not interrupting their critical duties). The NPC droid will correct you with a mild attitude adjustment stimulant (mild shock) or put you into stasis if you break the station rules, try to enter restricted areas, or endanger any person or systems (including yourself).
If you decide to join the crew, then complete the intake form. The droid sends your initial scan and questionnaire information to one of the medical and intake officers, who will contact you within 24 hours to meet and discuss your skills and background. Each new arrival is equipped with:
Once you complete any combination of two or more of the following, you will be considered for advancement with the space station crew:
Your intake officer will help you find a starting job on the space station and help facilitate your transition to a functional crew member. Your assigned droid will be reassigned once you earn your station badge and ID, which also allows you access to those areas you are cleared to enter.
That person will also be available to answer questions and support you as you acclimate to your new life in space, or fill in a ‘help’ ticket and your query will be dealt with as soon as possible. .
